Note: because of the nature of violin, viola, and cello fingering, we take care to size these instruments
properly to the students.
For example, we stock violins from full-size, also known as 4/4, through 3/4, 1/2,
1/4, 1/8, 1/16, to 1/32. The 1/32 size violins are suitable
for children of two to two-and-a-half years of age,
while the 1/4, or the1/8 size might be perfect for an eight year old. Please bring your
child in for a perfect fit!
Private Lessons are available on most instruments from our highly qualified teachers. Call Laura Cartolano,
Lessons Coordinator at

your lessons. Instruments include: piano, violin, viola, cello,
double bass, guitar
(electric, acoustic), electric bass, drums, keyboards, and most
brass and woodwinds. If your
instrument is not
listed, please call us to see if we teach it!
Service: We provide in-house service for most instruments and musical electronic equipment. We have two Luthiers
on staff – Master Luthier Barry Lipman and Luthier Chris Tatalias – each with decades of experience making and repairing
guitars. Barry also repairs bowed string instruments including
violins, violas, cellos, and double basses. Andrew Bell
is on staff for electronics or pro-audio service, either digital or analog.
*Free Lesson: first-time instrument renters and those who buy instruments from us qualify for a free lesson.
