Features

The Girl With The Flaxen Hair is of Claude Debussy's most popular piano works. It has been said that this piece, with its impressionistic and progressive harmonies, may have been a significant influence for many jazz artists of the 20th century. A more 'chamber sound' can be created by reducing the players to one-to-a-part in most of this arrangement. This would allow the opportunity to feature several soloists in the band and introduce the players to a wind ensemble sound.
