This unique IQ Plus design is constructed of five colored wooden blocks affixed to a high-strength bar. Children can play this instrument simply by striking the blocks with a mallet; with each block creating a different pitch. Everyone can play this instrument even without prior musical experience; and it is designed to encourage children to creatively improvise and invent new beats. The purpose of this instrument is to teach children about rhythm; one of the fundamental building blocks of early music education.
